In a sensational twist to the JPMorgan “sex slave” case, Chirayu Rana, a former banker, has returned to court with explosive new claims, complete with two anonymous witnesses’ statements alleging a disturbing “threesome invitation,” according to a report by The Sun.
Rana, 35, has refiled his lawsuit – which the bank has vehemently refuted – in Manhattan Supreme Court against senior executive Lorna Hajdini, 37, accusing her of sexually assaulting, racially abusing and drugging him. The lawsuit – previously withdrawn for “corrections” – reappeared on Monday with the two witness statements detailing the alleged incidents from 2024.
One anonymous witness claimed he was staying at an apartment with Rana when he was woken by the sound of a woman. He alleged that Hajdini, “completely naked,” entered the room, sat on a sofa, lit a cigarette, and asked him to “join” them in the bedroom. The witness said he repeatedly refused, after which Hajdini allegedly told him, “You know I own (Rana), so you’d better come join.”
The same witness further claimed that after Hajdini returned to the bedroom, he heard Rana pleading, “No, no, no, you have to leave. I’m not going to do this. Please stop.”
A second witness stated that Rana had earlier confided that a woman at work was making his “life hell.” He also alleged that he once saw Hajdini kissing Rana’s neck and grabbing him, adding that Rana appeared visibly uncomfortable during the interaction.
The revised filing also includes an affidavit in which Rana says he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in October 2024 following the alleged assaults, along with a letter from his counsellor confirming that he is undergoing treatment.
However, both the bank and Hajdini have strongly denied the allegations.
JPMorgan Chase told The Sun, “Following our investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims. While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and has declined to provide facts that would be central to support his allegations.”
“Lorna continues to categorically deny the allegations. She never dated this individual, never had a sexual or romantic encounter with him of any kind and never gave him any drugs. She maintains that his false claims are entirely fabricated and tarnishing her reputation,” Hajdini’s lawyers said.
The case has drawn further controversy following a report by the New York Post, which alleged that Rana misled the bank about his father’s death to secure time off to prepare the lawsuit, and that he had sought advice from a chatbot on rape-related legal questions.
Despite the fresh claims, the bank maintains that its internal probe – based on emails, records and devices – found no evidence of wrongdoing. The bank also said that Hajdini fully cooperated with investigators while Rana did not.
