The Ambani family hosted a special dinner honouring the return of the India Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, the prestigious ongoing international art exhibition, and the evening doubled as a celebration of fashion. Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, and Radhika Merchant put their best fashion foot forward and wore exquisite couture.

While Nita Ambani opted for a traditional Indian saree, Isha Ambani stunned in an iconic Chanel gown, and Radhika Merchant turned heads in a custom Givenchy saree. Each of these fashion moments was truly worth noting.

Nita Ambani embraced the elegance of six yards. She wore an ivory-beige Banarasi brocade Kaduwa saree, handwoven for over five months by artisans, and a delicately structured lace blouse by Manish Malhotra. She styled it with statement jewellery pieces, including a Ratna Riverie necklace made using Burmese rubies, Colombian emeralds, and white and yellow diamonds from her personal collection.

Another exquisite addition to her look was a traditional Indian temple-style hand-carved purse featuring gold and rubies. Think of it as temple jewellery but in form of a handbag!

Meanwhile, Isha looked stunning in a Chanel Haute Couture saree gown, a custom recreation of the brand’s iconic look 72 from the spring summer 1989 collection. Metallic adornments accentuated the pallu as well as well the waist of the gown.

As for Radhika Merchant, she made a striking fashion statement in a Givenchy outfit. The silhouette recreated the saree-inspired looks designed by Givenchy for Audrey Hepburn, famously seen in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Prior to the inaugural dinner hosted by the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, the Ambani family made a stylish appearance at the opening of the National Pavilion of India at the Venice Biennale. At the opening, the entire family was in attendance, with Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, and Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal posing together for a family photograph.

At the Venice Biennale, the Pavilion of India has put forth Geographies of Distance: Remembering Home, an art exhibition curated by Amin Jaffer and presented by the Ministry of Culture in partnership with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) and Serendipity Arts. The exhibition features works by artists Alwar Balasubramaniam (Bala), Ranjani Shettar, Sumakshi Singh, Skarma Sonam Tashi, and Asim Waqif.
