An Indian woman living in Singapore shared a video of a person who waited for the pedestrian signal to turn green at 1 am despite the road appearing empty and crossed only after receiving the go-ahead.
Kritika Jain said the clip highlighted what she saw as Singapore’s culture of following rules even late at night, as she said in the caption: “I don’t know if it’s a habit, discipline, or just how people are wired. It’s such a small thing, but it says a lot!”
The video shows a lone pedestrian standing at a crossing in the middle of the night and waiting for the signal to change before crossing the road.
