US-Israel-Iran War Live Updates: Iran’s military has warned that the conflict with the United States and Israel could flare up again, saying it is ‘likely’ the war will resume and that it is fully prepared for any “new adventures or foolishness” by Washington. The warning came amid stalled diplomatic efforts, with US President Donald Trump expressing dissatisfaction with Iran’s latest peace proposal, saying it includes demands “I can’t agree to”. At the same time, Washington has cautioned global shipping firms that paying tolls or transit fees to Iran for passage through the Strait of Hormuz could invite US sanctions. The strategic waterway was effectively shut by Iran after it targeted and threatened vessels following the US and Israeli strikes that began the war on February 28. The United States has maintained that it will not end the war without an agreement that permanently prevents Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
