bengaluru man sends farewell email made entirely of memes, leaves

A man working in Bengaluru left his colleagues in splits after ditching the usual formal goodbye and sending a farewell email made entirely of memes.

Instagram user Bhavisha Bhatia shared the now-viral video, explaining how one of her colleagues, who was leaving the company, decided to take a completely unconventional route for his last message.

In the clip, she scrolled through the email, revealing that it contained no formal text at all, just a string of memes.

One of them read, “Me googling ‘work memes’ for my farewell email,” paired with a cartoon of Spider-Man sitting at a computer. Another featured a popular movie-style goodbye moment with the line, “Acha bhai, ab chalta hoon (Okay then, I’ll take my leave now),” capturing the tone of a lighthearted sign-off.

Clearly amused, Bhatia was seen laughing throughout the video as she reacted to the unexpected email, saying she was completely caught off guard by it.

She added that she responded in the same spirit, by sending back a meme of her own to “repay the favour.”

The quirky farewell caught attention online, with several users loving the creativity and humour behind it.

Some people said they were inspired to try something similar in their own workplaces, while others shared that they had included at least one meme in their own goodbye emails in the past.

The moment struck a chord for turning what is usually a stiff, emotional workplace ritual into something personal, funny, and memorable, proving that sometimes, a few well-timed memes could say more than a long goodbye message.
