Noida International Airport is set to commence commercial flight operations on June 15, opening a new gateway for passengers in the Delhi NCR region and Western Uttar Pradesh. IndiGo will operate the first flight from the new facility, followed by services from Akasa Air and Air India Express. The commencement of operations follows the recent clearance of the Aerodrome Security Programme by aviation security authorities, marking the completion of final formalities. The airport, inaugurated by the Prime Minister, the Civil Aviation Minister, and the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, aims to de-clog Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. It will provide a streamlined and accessible travel option for residents of Noida, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, and Ghaziabad, eliminating the need to travel through the national capital. T
