Studds Accessories has expanded its DC Super Heroes-inspired product portfolio with the launch of the new Trooper Legacy Shield helmet in India. Developed in collaboration with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products, the latest offering introduces a fresh Superman-themed design to one of the brand’s most popular modular helmets.
Priced at Rs 2,425, the Trooper Legacy Shield features prominent Superman-inspired graphics, including the iconic “S” shield, a “Superman” wordmark on the crown, and a “Greatest Defender” inscription on the chin bar. The helmet is available in five colour options: Black & White, Black & Grey, Black & Red, Black & Teal Metallic Foil, and Black & Red Metallic Foil with both gloss and matte finish choices.
The new helmet is based on the Trooper platform, a flip-up modular design that allows riders to lift the chin bar during brief stops while retaining the protection of a full-face helmet during rides. STUDDS says the design has been created to appeal to riders looking for a distinctive visual identity without compromising on practicality.
In terms of safety, the helmet uses a high-impact ABS outer shell paired with a regulated-density EPS liner designed to absorb and distribute impact energy. It is certified under ISI standards by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and also meets DOT certification requirements.
The Trooper Legacy Shield is equipped with a scratch-resistant visor featuring a tool-free quick-release mechanism for easier maintenance. Other features include a hypoallergenic replaceable liner, removable lower trim, UV-resistant paint finish, and a quick-release chin strap with a rust-resistant stainless-steel buckle.
The helmet is offered in medium, large and extra large sizes and is available through Studds’ retail network, exclusive stores, and the company’s official website.
