Actor Jaideep Ahlawat on Friday announced his new film, Daldalll, with director Suresh Triveni, and unveiled the first poster online. The poster shows Ahlawat stuck in a swamp, setting the tone for the project.
The announcement has drawn attention from fans keen to see what Ahlawat and Triveni are working on. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Ahlawat wrote, “Iss Daldal mein tum sab bhi phasoge (You all will also get stuck in this swamp) (sic)!”
Triveni is known for projects such as Jalsa, Tumhari Sulu and Anil Kapoor’s Subedaar. His upcoming projects also include Netflix’s dark comedy Maa Behen, starring Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Ravi Kishan and Dharnaa Durga.
Maa Behen is produced by Vikram Malhotra and Suresh Triveni. The film was announced during Netflix’s 2026 slate reveal, but its release date has not been announced yet.
On the work front, Ahlawat was last seen in Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, alongside Dharmendra, Simar Bhatia and Agastya Nanda. He also made a cameo appearance in Netflix’s crime thriller Kohrra Season 2. He also portrayed the antagonist in Manoj Bajpayee’s espionage-thriller series The Family Man Season 3.
He will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s film King. The upcoming action-thriller also features actors Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma in key roles.
Ahlawat has also officially joined the cast of Drishyam 3, adding a fresh edge to the much-loved thriller franchise led by Ajay Devgn and Tabu. The actor’s inclusion marks his first association with the series and has already sparked excitement among fans eager to see how the story unfolds next.
The release date of Jaideep’s upcoming film, Daldalll is yet to be announced.
